Frequently asked questions
-
All vacancies are published here on our career site, and applications are submitted via the application form. If we work with a recruitment agency, applications are instead made through their system—this is always clearly stated in the job ad. We do not accept applications by email or post.
-
Our goal is for you to always receive feedback within 2–3 weeks. Sometimes the process may take a bit longer, but if that happens, we aim to keep you informed so you know what’s going on.
If more than four weeks have passed without you hearing from us, we ask that you contact the recruiting manager listed in the job ad. You may also want to check your spam or junk folder, in case an email from us has ended up there.
-
No open position that suits you at the moment? You’re welcome to submit a spontaneous application by clicking “Connect.” This allows us to review your application and contact you if a suitable opportunity comes up. You’ll also receive job alerts when new roles are posted that might be of interest to you. We do not accept spontaneous applications by email or post.

The recruitment process begins as soon as we receive your application and is entirely competence-based. We’ve replaced the traditional cover letter with selection questions that you may be asked to answer when submitting your CV. In some cases, you may also be invited to complete online, work-related psychological assessments—conveniently from home.
If you move forward, we’ll invite you to an interview, either digitally or on site at TePe. You’ll meet the hiring manager and a representative from HR. The next step is a second interview, where you’ll get a tour of our premises and meet more colleagues—so you can really get a feel for what it’s like to work with us.
After the second interview, there may be a case assignment or another skills-based task, giving you the opportunity to show your abilities in practice.
Finally, we carry out a background check, most often through reference checks. We’ll contact the references you’ve provided and may also ask you to verify your education and skills with certificates, transcripts, or similar documentation.
If you don’t move forward in the process, you’ll always receive feedback by email—we aim to respond within 2–3 weeks after you submit your application.

We’re happy to welcome students, primarily in the spring, when we have the capacity to do so. During this period, we prioritise thesis projects within the following areas:
* Sustainability and innovation
* Mechanical engineering with a focus on metrology, physics and/or chemistry
* Mechanical engineering with a focus on product development, materials engineering and/or production engineering
* Mechanical engineering with a focus on automation and/or electrical engineering
During autumn and winter, we publish current thesis topics on our career site, and you’re very welcome to submit your application then.
Do you have your own idea for a thesis project? Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at jobb@tepe.com—we look forward to hearing from you!

Yes—by logging in via “Candidate login” at the bottom of our career site, you can view and update your application.
-
We’re happy to welcome interns when we have the opportunity to do so. It’s important to us to offer a meaningful internship with an engaged supervisor, which means we can’t always take on many interns and often do so in collaboration with specific educational programmes.
Submit an expression of interest here via our career site, and we’ll see if we’re able to offer you an internship!
-
Holiday jobs are primarily offered to the children of our employees. Any additional positions are posted here on our career site, so feel free to keep an eye out.
You must be at least 16 years old to work with us, and over 18 to be able to work in production.
-
If you have questions about a specific vacancy, you’ll always find the contact details for the responsible person in the job ad.
If you can’t find the answer to your question here on the career site or on our website, the easiest way is to call our reception, explain what your query is about, and ask to be connected to the right person.
You can also meet us at events such as career fairs, where we occasionally take part—follow us on social media to see where we’ll be!
